Kindness Karts is an organization that brings joy, fun, and food to patients and caregivers in clinical settings.

• Games
  Kindness Karts rounds with games such as various card and board games. We love to sit with patients, spend time playing and getting to know them and keeping them company. Adhering to the strictest of infection prevention protocols Kindness Karts gifts patients with these games.

• Activities

  Kindness Karts has various large print activity books for example- word search, crossword puzzle, sudoku.

  Adult coloring books and crayons/colored pencils.

• Comfort Items

  Kindness Karts carry various comfort items such as stuffed animals and comfy blankets.

• Food/Snacks
  At select institutions, where appropriate Kindness rounds will provide food snacks and beverages to patients and caregivers. All allergies and dietary restrictions are carefully observed, and food consistency and aspiration precautions are strictly followed in coordination with nursing and dietary staff.

• Connection
  The purpose of every game, every activity, every snack, and every interaction is connection. To make people realize that they are seen, cared for, and not alone.
